The Grounds gives FC 27 Clubs players several ways to level up their Archetypes and earn Grounds Coins. You do not need to stick to one activity, and the fastest progression usually comes from combining regular matches with Objectives, Kickabouts, and limited-time activities.
If you want to progress efficiently, the key is not simply playing as many games as possible. It is choosing activities that give you multiple types of rewards at the same time.
Start With Objectives
Objectives should be the first thing you check before starting a longer play session. EA confirms that Objectives in The Grounds can reward Grounds Coins, AXP Consumables, Archetype XP, and other items. Some objectives are also connected to specific activities or actions.
A simple routine is:
Open the World Map.
Go to the Objectives tab.
Check which tasks match the activities you already want to play.
Complete several objectives during the same session.
Collect the rewards before moving on.
This is more efficient than choosing activities randomly because one match can sometimes contribute toward multiple progression goals.
Use Kickabouts Between Club Matches
Kickabouts are short multiplayer activities spread throughout The Grounds. They award both Archetype XP and Grounds Coins, and some can also contribute toward Grounds Objectives.
They are particularly useful when you are waiting for Clubmates or do not have enough players for a full Club session.
You can choose from activities such as:
Bocce Ball
Balloon Ball
Bucketball
The Big Race
Team Keep Away
Scenarios
Goal Control
Before joining, check the information board beside the activity. Understanding the scoring system makes it easier to complete objectives instead of simply playing for the sake of finishing a match.
Prioritize Club Matches for Long Sessions
If you have a full group of Clubmates available, regular Clubs gameplay should remain an important part of your progression. EA states that playing across The Grounds helps develop your Pro, with AXP and Grounds Coins available from gameplay.
This makes Club matches a good choice when you want to combine gameplay progression with your normal competitive routine.
Rather than leaving The Grounds to grind progression separately, play your usual matches while keeping your active Objectives in mind.
Look for Limited-Time Activities
Limited-time experiences deserve extra attention when they are available. EA specifically notes that Club Tournaments and Playoffs can offer greater rewards, while Live Events introduce temporary activities and exclusive rewards.
If a limited-time activity also matches one of your current Objectives, it becomes an especially efficient use of your time.
Check the map before every session for activities marked with timers or event indicators. The available content can change, so your best farming route may not always be the same.
Use AXP Consumables Wisely
Consumables can directly provide AXP or increase the amount of AXP you earn. They are available through Objectives and other rewards, while some can also be found in The Grounds stores.
Do not use an AXP multiplier immediately if you are only planning to play one short match. Save it for a longer session when you know you can play several matches and make full use of the boost.
If you received an AXP multiplier through a launch reward, for example, plan a longer Clubs session around it rather than activating it without a clear progression plan.
A Simple Farming Route
Grounds Coins can be used for items available in The Grounds, including Amps and Consumables. Store availability can change, so check the item’s price and required currency before purchasing.
Do not confuse Grounds Coins with FC 27 Coins. They serve different purposes, and Grounds Coins are earned directly through The Grounds.
Spend Your Resources Carefully
Fast progression is useful, but there is no reason to spend every resource immediately. Build your Archetype first and figure out which Attributes, Amps, and Consumables actually benefit your position.
If you are also managing FIFA 27 Coins for other parts of the game, keep that spending separate from your The Grounds progression. Your main goal here should be improving your Pro while collecting Grounds Coins naturally through activities you already enjoy.
The most efficient approach is simple: check Objectives first, combine them with normal Club matches, use Kickabouts when convenient, and take advantage of limited-time activities when their rewards are available. This keeps your progression moving without turning The Grounds into a repetitive grind.
